I research the depiction of the visually created “other” from propaganda to fine arts, and dehumanization of marginalized individuals throughout Europe and America.
Intersecting the fields of art history with gender, disability, and race studies. Ranging from 15th century to the present, with focuses on Italian renaissance, 18th century France and 20th century Germany.
